Palin Not Running for Presidential Nomination

On Wednesday, October 5, former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin announced that she would not be running for the 2012 Presidential Nomination. She stated "I can be on the right path without being a candidate". Palin first became very popular when she was chosen as Senator John McCain's running mate in the 2008 Presidential Election. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie also announced that he will not be running for the GOP nomination. Palin thanked all her supporters for their tremendous support through the years and she also said that she will be concentrating on helping the other candidates.

I believe that Sarah Palin did the right thing by not running for the Presidential Nomination. Although, she is very strong, I don't think that she would be able to win the election. I also think that she knows that she wouldn't be able to win and whats the point in wasting time and a lot of money if you know you can't win? I think that her idea of helping the other candidates is a good idea. I also think that she is doing a good thing for her family. During the time when she was John McCain's running mate in the 2008 election, the media dug deep into her personal life and into the lives of her family. The media has been on top of Sarah Palin from the time of the Presidential Election, until now. They will most likely keep on top of her and her business, but defiantly not as much as before.
